Genral Tips:

**SHIFT LIGHT HOOK UP

From Kevin Paterson: If you want to use a "SHIFT LIGHT" ECM pin #3 is the take off.

**SADDLE BAGS AND PULLEYS

Watch the bottom lip of your HD Saddle Bags, They may make contact with the belt guar and in turn strike and mark the pulley.

**CLEANING

Be very careful what DETERGENT used in cleaning your V-rod. Some are very caustic[SUPER CLEAN] and will eat aluminum and damage the PowderCoated surfaces!

**INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOT [IAT]

The 2002 VRSCA has the IAT sensor located behind the front cylinder. This has proven not to be the best spot. A false reading was created by radiant engine heat. The MOCO moved the sensor to the top of the airbox in 2003. 2002 owners can get a relo kit #29343-01A. Comes with instructions and is easy to install.

**FRONT FORKS

A few people have complained the front forks dive a lot under hard braking! We have found 15w oil set at 3.5" to be a nice setup for a little slower front end.

**FRONT AXEL NUT

More than a few have found the front axel nut loose on the V-Rod. Torque is 50-55ft-lbs. A washer is being install at the MOCO now...Make this part of your pre-flight walk around.
